Linen yarn is a plant-based yarn. It’s made from fibres of the flax plant and those fibres are harvested, softened, twisted into threads, and then twisted further into yarn. Linen can be used for extremely fine weaving to make fabric or can be used for knitting.
At The Knitting Nook we stock Quince & Co Linen, which is lovely and draped but a totally different feel from merino.
